General

What is GrowthPath AI?

GrowthPath AI is an AI-native people management platform built for growing teams of 20–500 employees. It combines performance reviews, employee development, meeting intelligence, exit interviews, pulse surveys, and security culture assessments — all powered by 31 AI tasks that save managers hours of manual work.

Who is GrowthPath AI designed for?

GrowthPath AI is purpose-built for US SMBs — small and mid-size businesses with 5 to 500 employees. Whether you're a tech startup, professional services firm, creative agency, or healthcare organization, the platform scales with your team. The typical buyer is an HR manager, office manager, or founder/COO looking for a modern, AI-powered alternative to spreadsheets or bloated enterprise tools.

How does AI work in GrowthPath?

AI assists — humans decide. Every AI feature in GrowthPath is designed to draft, suggest, or analyze — never to make final decisions. For example, AI drafts performance reviews from real employee data, but the manager always reviews, edits, and approves before anything is shared. Every AI-drafted document includes automatic bias detection so managers can catch issues before they reach employees.

Can I use GrowthPath AI with my existing HR tools?

Yes. GrowthPath integrates with Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook for meeting context (via Cronofy), Traitify for personality assessments, and breach monitoring via CyberAlign. We're continually expanding our integration ecosystem. All data flows are one-way into GrowthPath — we never write back to your existing systems without explicit action.

Is there a free trial?

Yes — GrowthPath offers a 30-day free trial of the Professional plan with no credit card required. You get full access to AI review drafts, 360 feedback, skills gap analysis, personality assessments, exit interview AI, and pulse survey AI analysis. CyberAlign also offers a permanently free tier for basic security grade assessments.

Performance Management

How does AI draft a performance review?

AI assembles context from multiple data sources — past reviews, goal progress, 360 feedback, meeting notes, and personality data — to create a comprehensive, evidence-based draft. The manager receives this draft with specific data points cited, then edits and approves it. Every draft is automatically checked for bias before the manager sees it.

What does bias detection look for?

GrowthPath's bias detection scans every AI-drafted review for common patterns of unconscious bias including gendered language, recency bias, halo/horn effects, and attribution bias. When it identifies potential issues, it highlights the specific language and suggests neutral alternatives. This runs automatically on every draft — managers don't need to remember to activate it.

How long does a performance review take with GrowthPath?

Most managers complete a review in about 30 minutes — down from the industry average of 3–6 hours. AI handles the initial data gathering and draft generation, so the manager's time is spent reviewing, editing, and adding personal observations rather than writing from scratch.

How does 360 feedback work?

360 feedback collects input from peers, direct reports, and managers through structured questionnaires. AI anonymizes all responses to encourage honesty, then synthesizes the feedback into themed insights — for example, grouping comments about communication skills or leadership potential. These synthesized themes feed directly into the performance review draft, giving managers a complete picture.

What is calibration and why does it matter?

Calibration ensures consistency and fairness in performance ratings across your organization. AI analyzes the distribution of ratings across teams and managers, identifies statistical outliers, and flags potential inconsistencies. For Enterprise plans, AI can also rewrite review narratives to align with calibrated scores — with every change tracked in a complete audit trail for compliance.

Can I customize review cycles and templates?

Yes. You can configure review frequency (annual, semi-annual, quarterly, or custom), set up multi-stage approval workflows, create custom competency frameworks, and build templates tailored to different roles or departments. All customization is done through the admin dashboard — no technical skills required.

Is every change to a review tracked?

Yes. GrowthPath maintains a complete audit trail for every performance review — from the initial AI draft through every manager edit, calibration adjustment, and approval. This audit trail is essential for compliance, helps resolve disputes, and provides transparency into the review process.

Which plans include performance management features?

Performance reviews and AI review drafts are available on all plans. The Essentials plan includes 10 AI drafts per month and basic bias detection. Professional adds unlimited AI drafts, 360 feedback with AI synthesis, and advanced bias detection. Enterprise adds calibration with AI narrative rewriting, custom competencies, and full audit trails. See detailed plan comparison.

Can managers still write reviews manually?

Absolutely. AI drafts are a starting point, not a requirement. Managers can write reviews entirely from scratch, use the AI draft as-is (after editing), or anything in between. The platform adapts to each manager's preferred workflow — some rely heavily on AI drafts while others prefer to write their own and use AI only for bias checking.

How does GrowthPath handle review data privacy?

Performance review data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Access is controlled through role-based permissions — employees see their own reviews, managers see their direct reports, and HR admins have configurable organization-wide access. AI processing happens in isolated sessions, and no review data is used to train AI models. Learn more about our security practices.

Employee Development

What is skills gap analysis?

Skills gap analysis maps each employee's current competencies against the requirements for their role — or a target role they're working toward. GrowthPath visualizes these gaps as a clear, color-coded matrix showing where development is needed most. AI then suggests specific learning activities and development goals to close the highest-priority gaps.

How do Individual Development Plans (IDPs) work?

IDPs are personalized growth roadmaps created collaboratively between managers and employees. AI drafts an initial plan based on skills gaps, career aspirations, and performance review insights. The plan includes specific goals, timelines, and suggested activities. Both managers and employees can track progress, and the IDP feeds back into the next performance review cycle.

What personality assessments does GrowthPath offer?

GrowthPath integrates Big Five personality assessments via Traitify (by Paradox). These research-backed assessments measure openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and emotional stability. AI generates plain-language summaries that help managers understand communication styles, motivators, and potential blind spots — useful for team composition and 1-on-1 coaching conversations.

How does goal management work?

GrowthPath supports both simple goals and full OKR (Objectives and Key Results) frameworks. AI helps generate SMART goals from plain-language descriptions. Essentials plans include basic goal tracking; Professional adds OKR support; Enterprise adds cascading goals that align individual objectives to company strategy. Goal progress automatically feeds into performance review drafts.

Can I track professional certifications and training?

Yes. The professional development module tracks certifications, training completions, courses, and other development activities. Managers can assign recommended development activities, and employees can log their own. This history becomes part of the employee's development profile and feeds into performance reviews and IDP tracking.

How does AI help with employee development?

AI assists development in two key ways: first, it generates development plans based on skills gaps, performance data, and career goals. Second, it creates personality summaries that help managers tailor their coaching approach. The AI never prescribes development paths — it suggests options that the manager and employee discuss and refine together.

Which plans include employee development features?

Basic goal tracking is included in the Essentials plan. Professional unlocks full OKR support, professional development tracking, skills gap analysis, personality assessments, and Individual Development Plans. Enterprise adds cascading goals for organizational alignment. See detailed plan comparison.

Can employees see their own skills gaps?

Yes. Employees have access to their own skills gap analysis, development plans, and personality summaries. This transparency helps employees take ownership of their growth. Managers control which assessments are visible and can share additional context through the IDP collaboration tools.

Does development data feed into performance reviews?

Yes — development progress is one of the key data sources AI uses when drafting performance reviews. Goal completion rates, skills gap changes, training completions, and IDP milestones all contribute to a comprehensive review that reflects the full scope of an employee's contributions and growth.

Can I create custom competency frameworks?

Enterprise plans support fully custom competency frameworks. You can define role-specific competencies, create proficiency scales, and map them to your organization's career ladders. These custom competencies integrate with skills gap analysis and feed directly into performance reviews and development plans.

Meeting Intelligence

How does Meeting Intelligence capture meeting data?

Upload meeting notes, transcripts, or summaries in common formats (.txt, .docx, .vtt). AI extracts key discussion points, decisions, action items, and employee-specific insights. Enterprise plans add Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook integration via Cronofy for automatic context enrichment.

What file formats does Meeting Intelligence support?

Meeting Intelligence accepts .txt, .docx, and .vtt (WebVTT transcript) files. You can upload notes from any meeting tool — the AI handles the rest. Whether it's a formal transcript from a recording tool or handwritten notes converted to text, the extraction works the same way.

How do meeting insights feed into reviews?

AI-extracted meeting insights — action items, decisions, feedback moments — are automatically associated with the relevant employees. When it's review time, AI includes these data points in the performance review draft, giving managers concrete examples of contributions and growth discussions that happened throughout the review period.

Which plans include Meeting Intelligence?

Meeting Intelligence is available starting with the Professional plan (upload + AI extraction). Enterprise adds calendar integration with Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook for automatic meeting context sync. See detailed plan comparison.

Is meeting data kept private?

Yes. Meeting data follows the same strict privacy controls as all GrowthPath data. Only managers with appropriate permissions can see meeting insights for their direct reports. Meeting content is encrypted at rest and in transit, and AI processing occurs in isolated sessions.

Exit Interviews

How do AI-powered exit interviews work?

GrowthPath provides structured exit interview templates that HR teams can customize. Departing employees complete the interview, and AI analyzes responses for sentiment, recurring themes, and actionable patterns. Enterprise plans include trend tracking across all departures and AI-generated retention recommendations.

Can exit interviews be anonymous?

Yes. Exit interviews support anonymous response collection to encourage honest feedback. AI analyzes responses without exposing individual identities, and trend reports aggregate data across multiple departures so no single response can be attributed to a specific person.

What insights does exit interview AI provide?

AI provides sentiment analysis (positive, negative, mixed), theme extraction (grouping responses by topic like management, compensation, growth), trend analysis across departures, and retention recommendations. Enterprise plans add department-level trend tracking and predictive insights about retention risks.

Which plans include Exit Interviews?

Exit interview templates are available on the Professional plan. Full AI analysis with sentiment detection, theme extraction, trend tracking, and retention recommendations requires the Enterprise plan. See detailed plan comparison.

Can I customize exit interview questions?

Yes. GrowthPath provides research-backed templates as a starting point, and you can add, remove, or modify questions to fit your organization. Custom templates are saved for reuse and can be tailored by department or role level.

Pulse Surveys

What are pulse surveys?

Pulse surveys are short, frequent engagement checks that measure employee sentiment across key dimensions like job satisfaction, management quality, growth opportunities, and work-life balance. Unlike annual surveys, pulse surveys run on a regular cadence (weekly, biweekly, or monthly) to track trends in real time.

How does AI analyze pulse survey results?

AI performs sentiment analysis on open-ended responses, extracts recurring themes, and identifies statistically significant trends across survey cycles. Enterprise plans add automatic alert generation when engagement scores drop below configurable thresholds, plus department-level breakdowns and peer benchmarks.

Are pulse survey responses anonymous?

Yes. All pulse survey responses are anonymous by default. AI analyzes aggregate patterns without exposing individual responses. Department-level breakdowns require a minimum number of respondents to prevent individual identification.

Which plans include Pulse Surveys?

Core pulse surveys are available on the Professional plan. Full AI analysis with sentiment detection, theme extraction, trend tracking, and automatic alerts requires the Enterprise plan. See detailed plan comparison.

How often should we run pulse surveys?

Most organizations find biweekly or monthly cadence works best — frequent enough to catch emerging trends but not so frequent that employees experience survey fatigue. GrowthPath lets you set any cadence and automatically distributes surveys to keep response rates high.

CyberAlign

What is CyberAlign?

CyberAlign is a security culture assessment platform that measures your organization's human security posture. It goes beyond technical security tools by evaluating how well your team understands and practices security — then gives you an A–F security grade, identifies gaps, and provides an AI-generated remediation roadmap.

What is a security grade?

Your security grade is a simple A–F score that reflects your organization's overall security culture maturity. It's calculated from assessment questions across 10 security domains: identity & access, email security, data protection, endpoint protection, network security, incident response, backup & recovery, vendor risk, security training, and governance. The grade gives leadership a clear, communicable metric — much easier to act on than a 50-page audit report. The free tier includes your basic security grade; paid plans add domain-level scoring and trend tracking.

Which compliance frameworks does CyberAlign support?

CyberAlign supports overlay mapping to 18 compliance frameworks: SOC 2, NIST CSF, HIPAA, PCI DSS, CMMC, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, GDPR, FedRAMP, HITRUST CSF, SOX, CCPA/CPRA, GLBA, COBIT, FISMA, FFIEC, CSA CCM, and AML. The framework overlay shows how your assessment results map to specific compliance requirements — making audit preparation significantly faster.

How does the AI remediation roadmap work?

In the paid tiers after an assessment, AI analyzes your results and generates a prioritized remediation roadmap. It identifies your highest-risk gaps, suggests specific actions to close them, and estimates the effort required. The roadmap is practical and actionable — not generic checklist items, but recommendations tailored to your actual assessment data.

Can I generate security policies with the platform

Yes. CyberAlign Free includes one platform-generated IT Acceptable Use Policy per year. Pro unlocks all 10 policy types (acceptable use, incident response, data handling, access control, and more) with up to 10 generations per year per type. Advanced provides unlimited policy generation plus Policy Assessment with AI-driven rewrites and version control.

What is the breach check feature?

Breach check, utilizes deep web monitoring, monitors your organization's email domains for known data breaches. The free tier shows basic breach counts. Pro and Advanced plans provide full breach details, affected service names, compromised data types, and exportable HTML reports for incident response documentation.

Is CyberAlign separate from GrowthPath?

Yes. CyberAlign and GrowthPath are separate subscriptions that work seamlessly together. Many customers start with CyberAlign Free to assess their security culture, then add GrowthPath when they're ready for performance management. Bundling both gives you a complete view of your people — from security awareness to professional development.

Can I white-label CyberAlign for my clients?

White-label branding, multi-org management, and API access are available through our Partner program for MSPs and IT consultants. Contact us for details on custom pricing and setup.

How long does a CyberAlign assessment take?

A basic assessment takes about 10 minutes or less to complete. The assessments (in Pro and Advanced) covers 1000+ questions across 10 security domains: identity-access, email-security, data-protection, endpoint-protection, network-security, incident-response, backup-recovery, vendor-risk, security-training, and governance. Employees can complete it at their own pace, and results are available immediately after submission.

What makes CyberAlign different from other security tools?

Most security tools focus on technology — firewalls, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanning. CyberAlign focuses on people — the human layer that's involved in 82% of data breaches. It measures security culture, identifies alignment gaps between leadership and workforce, and provides actionable remediation. Plus it connects to your people management platform for a complete view.
